Access
The Harbor is located to the south of I 30 on the east side of Lake Ray Hubbard, on Summer Lee Drive. From I-30 traveling from the west across the lake, exit at Horizon Drive and turn right. From the east, exit at Ridge Road and continue to Horizon Drive, take a left over the highway and then right into the district.
Valet parking is available.

Events at The Harbor include Rockwall Chamber’s “Rocking on the Docks”, Holidays at The Harbor, Toys for Tots Drive , Home for the Holidays, Earth Day Celebration, Gospel Sunday Brunches, The Freedom Festival & Boat Show, The Harbor Wine & Art Fest, the Toyota Triathlon and our annual Auto Show! We have events for everyone!
The “Concert on the Lake” sponsored by the City of Rockwall series is held every Thursday evening from mid May to Mid August. Enjoy the sounds of music from the many patios, or pickup a picnic from any of the The Harbor restaurants and enjoy the grass area in the park for a closer look.

The Story
How it All Began…
In July 2003, the Rockwall City Council took the first step in the creation of a landmark facility in the City of Rockwall. The result is the Harbor District with its water front location where everyone can enjoy the shoreline along Lake Ray Hubbard.
Most of the shore on Lake Ray Hubbard was developed without public access to the lake. The Harbor District development with its retail, restaurant and entertainment components provides needed access to the water’s edge. The lifestyle retail and restaurant complex is privately owned. The City of Rockwall owns and manages the public areas of boardwalks, fountains, park and outdoor stage, pedestrian walkways and related amenities. These provide opportunities for public activities such as the “Concert of the Lake” series and other events.
The Harbor District has a number of elements; the lifestyle retail and restaurant neighborhood, Cinemark Movie Theater, Hilton Hotel, the outside water fountain, an activity fountain, the large open park directly on the shoreline and the marina where boats can be moored for dining and shopping at the Harbor.
The Harbor restaurants feature outdoor patios, all with lake views; some of the sunsets others of the fountains. A wide variety of food is available, from Mexican and Cajun to fine steak, pizza and hamburgers; ice-cream and yogurt, and even chocolates. Retailers include specialty clothing, spas, nail salon and cigars.
